Responsibilities:

• Only candidates local (commutable) to Piqua, Ohio should apply.
• The position requires a Bachelors degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Develop production improvements to achieve production schedules and product requirements by applying lean manufacturing principles with emphasis on variation reduction
• Contribute to the rationalization of strategic capital investment planning and budgeting financial investment projects
• Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health, and safety and 5S
• Maintain awareness of quality standards, communicate department quality goals and leverage resources to solve quality problems
• Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, and management
• Bring leadership skills that help develop teams
• Strong problem-solving skills (utilizing data)
• Implement/follow systems that prevent reoccurrence of known issues
• Motivate, train and develop employees to effectively perform their jobs utilizing standardized methods
• Influence your peers to accomplish plant goals
• Control costs and achieve productivity improvements
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement and apply Nitto’s Kaizen principles to both operations and maintenance
• Complies with all company policies, procedures, and handbooks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,805.00 per year
