As a Registered Dietitian for our Enteral Nutrition Center, you will work with internal and external customers including patients, caregivers, case managers, outpatient dietitians, home care dietitians and vendor representatives to coordinate all aspects of patient home nutrition therapy. You'll use your excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners and patients. You will play an instrumental role in making areal difference by improving the quality of life for patients in need.

As an Enteral Dietitian you will:

• Perform outbound calls to follow up with patients and caregivers regarding patient status and service – clarify patient problems, determine urgency, respond with appropriate action to resolve.
• Consult with field sales to understand the patient situation and provide nutrition options to present to physician.
• Review patient documentation – look for Medicare qualifying criteria and provide recommendations to field sales representatives.
• Calculate patient order based on clinical notes and chart – review documents, determine order quantity passed on prescription (call/hour) and method of administration.
• Answer incoming calls from other departments across the Center to resolve patient issues (billing problems, refill, etc.), de-escalate the situation and work with the correct person/department to put action in place for resolution.

Training at this time is fully remote.

In this remote role, you will work 30- 40 hours per week from your home, Monday through Friday, performing clinical follow-up over the phone with our tube-fed patients. Typical work hours are 8a-5p MST. Paid on call participation will be 1 week typically every 8 to10 weeks.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 21.75
Maximum: 47.25

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

• Current registration by the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association is required.
• Registered Dietitian with current license in state of employment. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
• Minimum one to three years clinical experience – clinical internship.
• Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) required within 1 year of hire
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity
• Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tube feeding in home setting is a plus
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid Requirements
• Knowledge of Payer Types
• Knowledge of Formula Conversions

Education

• Bachelor Degree-Nutrition, Dietetics or related field is required
