Responsibilities:
- Support senior engineers by performing specific and limited portions of their more broad assignments.
- Provide support for design projects including collection systems, pumping and treatment systems, environmental compliance, permitting, water/wastewater utilities, and stormwater management.
- Perform design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work.
- Assist in the design and production of engineering reports, construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications for the delivery of projects.
- Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project.
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without immediate and constant supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- M.S. in Environmental or Civil Engineering is a plus.
- CO-OP or Internship experience is a plus.
- 0-2 years experience in environmental/water resources engineering consulting for local government/municipal or industrial clients.
- Preferred understanding and knowledge of Civil 3D and/or REVIT for production.
