The Pratt & Whitney Talent Acquisition team has an exciting opportunity for a Engineering Recruiter. In this role, you will provide recruiting consultant expertise to the business in order to help drive hiring initiatives across the enterprise. You will be responsible for managing the full life cycle recruiting process for the Engineering group within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and define hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions and coordinate interview.
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Utilize compliant and effective data management techniques in our real-time applicant tracking system
- Drive the recruitment process by setting clear expectations and delivering on commitments with a sense of urgency to the business as well as internal and external candidates
- Partner with the sourcing team to address niche and “hard to fill” positions
- Collaborate with hiring managers to prepare compensation proposals and salary recommendations based on market data and internal policies
- Provide timely and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position to ensure world-class candidate experience
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Pratt & Whitney, your business unit and the aerospace industry
- Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and OFCCP / EEOC guidelines
- Will work closely with senior business and Human Resources leadership to understand talent strategies and recruiting related recruiting needs and implications
- Effective in communicating with senior and executive leadership
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant talent acquisition experience (recruiting coordinator, HR, recruiter, etc.) experience OR 6+ years of relevant talent acquisition experience (recruiting coordinator, HR, recruiter, etc.) in lieu of a degree
- 6+ months of Engineering recruiting experience
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and/or manage clients/customers
- Experience utilizing a variety of candidate sourcing methods/tools (LinkedIn, Boolean Search, HireEZ, Seekout, Alumni outreach, Diversity databases, etc.)
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting Pratt & Whitney
- Advanced sourcing capability
- Ability to develop and influence recruiting focused strategic decisions
- Ability to quickly and efficiently develop relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other HR team members
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
