Job description

As a Designer, you will partner with an experienced team that has strong product, vendor, and system knowledge. We'll look to you to function as a cartridge valve manifold designer and hydraulic systems development expert, building relationships with customers.


You will be responsible for the promotion of company products and services to a diverse range of manufacturing companies within the company’s geographic region. The primary responsibilities are to assist customers in designing hydraulic systems and with product selection and integration. In addition to providing application assistance, you will also be required to design cartridge valve manifolds using SolidWorks 3D modeling software, develop drawings, bill of materials, and project specifications, which define the scope and performance requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Power Systems sales force in their territories, while working with engineers or other professional and technical personnel at OEM’s and other establishments to promote solutions that incorporate Power Systems products and systems.
  • Create hydraulic circuit drawings, design cartridge valve manifolds from the circuit drawings, create machine drawings and manifold assembly drawings, and other documents in order to prepare detailed technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • Maintain professional working contact with key suppliers of products sold.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; Bachelors' Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D Modeling software
  • Experience designing Fluid Power systems preferred
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
