Our business is seeking a versatile and proficient Elementary School Teacher who can integrate advanced technological procedures into the conventional classroom. The right candidate must be able to create lesson plans and curricular designed to provoke critical thinking, and will be required to spend considerable time working in a collaborative environment with outside organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan a rigorous curriculum that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Integrate biblical principles and the Christian worldview through an engaging curriculum and classroom activities.
- Support students’ Social Emotional Learning and facilitate all SEL school initiatives and activities.
- Use various instructional strategies and materials that will provide creative teaching to reach the whole child-spiritual, social, and emotional.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments as required by school policy.
- Prepare classroom and materials for class activities ahead of time.
- Teach classes as assigned, scheduled by the administration, following subject scope and sequence and Curriculum Map aligned to grade and subject standards.
- Plan, through approved channels, the use of field trips, guest speakers, and other media to enrich the student experience.
- Provides a safe, positive learning environment for all students.
- Maintain professional ethics that require confidentiality concerning the sharing of information about students, parents, or staff.
- Handle all confidential information by all applicable privacy laws and regulations (as required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act [HIPAA]).
- Supervise snacks, lunch, breaks, transitions, drop-off, and dismissal periods as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teaching
- Puerto Rico Department of Education certification in teaching in the appropriate subject areas.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work regularly and punctually.
- Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program.
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
- Meet professional teacher education requirements of the school and state.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22,900.00 - $25,100.00 per year
