Job description
Duties:
Install and maintain electrical systems
Adhere to all safety protocols while performing repairs
Execute regular maintenance procedures on electrical and control systems
Work independently to perform maintenance
Conduct PLC troubleshooting, power distribution issues, re-wiring, etc.
Analyze and troubleshoot control systems and electrical systems
Resolve various software/hardware and related issues
Requirements:
- Formal training from Technical School or accredited apprenticeship or equivalent
- Thoroughly knowledgeable in 120v, 208v, 240v, 277v, 480v, and 24v power
- Formal electrical training or proven on-the-job experience in electrical industry
- 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance
- Familiarity with all electrical codes relevant to installations, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Experience in panel building, machine rewiring, and modification to electrical systems
- Expertise in interpreting electrical schematics
You should possess expertise in:
- Reading blueprints
- PLC troubleshooting abilities
- Creating preventive maintenance strategies
- Electrical schematics
Equipment & technologies you will use:
- Servo Motors
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
Salary info:
