EG&R Engineering PC is a fast-growing multi-disciplinary engineering firm located in Cranbury, NJ. EG&R provides electrical, mechanical, environmental and geotechnical engineering services for a variety of markets including government, utilities/power, waste to energy companies, transit agencies, manufacturing industries, pharmaceuticals, A-E firms/Architects, contractors and various types of commercial clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with SCADA experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and SCADA systems for a wide range of applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of designing SCADA systems.

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities include engineering and design for the upgrade of SCADA systems.

• Design and develop electrical systems and SCADA systems for a variety of applications.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
• Work with a team of engineers and designers to integrate electrical systems and SCADA systems with other plant systems (switchgear, network, PLC)
• Provide support during the commissioning and start-up of electrical systems and SCADA systems
• Create and maintain documentation related to electrical systems and SCADA systems
• Ensure that all electrical systems and SCADA systems meet applicable codes and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering and SCADA system development
• Experience with designing and implementing electrical systems for industrial applications.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio
• Knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development
• Experience with SCADA software such as Ignition, Wonderware, or WinCC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Aptitude to work in a team environment
