Elections Specialist Jefferson County Auditor’s Office

Election Specialist: Jefferson County is accepting applications for an Election Specialist. This position assists in the preparation and operation of County elections, maintenance of voter registration records and provides technical support and backup as needed with other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience:

Requires a High School Diploma or GED; and three years progressively responsible clerical or bookkeeping positions, including two years’ experience as an Election Technician with an emphasis on election work and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must become a Certified Election Administrator within 3 years of employment.

Hours & Compensation:

This is a full time Grade 23 UFCW position. Pay range is $20.17-$25.19 DOQ /hour in 2023, starting pay typically $20.17/hour, DOE. Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS. Plus 12 days of vacation to start, 11 paid holidays, sick leave, and bereavement leave.
