Job Responsibilities:

• Planned, implement, manage, and maintain comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on-premises or at project site locations.
• Develop and implement EHS training programs for employees, promoting safety across all levels of the organization to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Collaboration with organizational leadership to identify safety goals, develop strategies, and achieve health, safety, and environmental objectives.
• Maintain safety records, including incident reports, safety inspections, and training records
• Conducts risk assessments and audits of processes and routine tasks to develop and validate job safety analysis and recommend control measures to assure compliance and risk mitigation
• .Oversees the formal investigation of incidents and assessment of risk providing procedures and training to prevent future occurrences when required. Ensure identified actions are tracked to closure
• Manage the hazardous waste program, including waste minimization, storage, and disposal
• Manage corporate projects to ensure interaction with the facility management team, team leaders, and facility employees in order to increase awareness and education levels regarding safe and compliant work
• Analyze incident data to identify trends and losses that can be prevented and eliminated
• Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and best practices, and ensure that the organization is compliant
• Evaluate work processes and procedures to ensure they align with industry safety standards and best practices

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Phoenix, AZ 85040: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EHS: 1 year (Preferred)
