St. Albans City School is looking to hire a tech savvy, Certified educator to work with PreK through 8th Grade students. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated starter, willing to learn, and able to inspire creativity and personal best in young people through innovative teaching strategies and solid technology knowledge.This position will encompass: ? facilitating Makerspace groups ?

teaching digital citizenship ? collaborating with teachers on how to incorporate Making into their curriculum ? in partnership with network admin, bring cutting edge technologies to our school ? working with the tech team in supporting educators and students use of technologyThe Educational Innovation Specialist promotes the themes of global awareness, entrepreneurialism, civic literacy and digital literacy and the skills of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration through work with faculty and students in support of curriculum and instruction.

The incumbent will be creative, connected collaborative, and passionate.Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Educational Technology, or equivalent preferred. Experience in classroom technology or related field preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement for academic assignment and/or level of assignment.
