Job description
A rapidly growing Aerospace company is actively looking for enthusiastic & responsible EDM setup & operator. Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our employees are required to have broad knowledge & experience in the precision machining trade.
Basic Duties:
- Setup and programming of EDM equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Making precision parts for tool-makers and designers
- Inspect parts produced and monitoring machine performance regarding quantity output and quality, making adjustments as needed
- Plan setup, using specified holding fixture or selecting clamps, blocks, collets, and other standard holding devices from available supply.
- Enter programs and all necessary parameters into machine control
- Responsible for the final finishing of all parts, pieces and components coming out of our CNC
- Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/Management
Basic Requirements:
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Working with multiple thru wire EDM machines or sinker EDM machining solutions.
- Must be knowledgeable in CAD/CAM programming
- Ability to interpret 3D models
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
Education & Experience:
- High School education or equivalent
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Ability to operate Computer Numerically Controlled Electrical Discharge Machines
- Minimum 3 years related job experience and technical education

FULL-Time position of 8-12 hrs Mon-Fri with Sat optional

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
