THE OPPORTUNITY
The Ecommerce Manager will help execute strategy on DTC Retail initiatives, oversee the look, feel and design of our online stores, work to improve customer user experience (UX), and product content execution for the retail department. You will be working closely with Marketing, IT, and web design agencies, to develop the roadmap for our website strategy and priorities, including new webpage development, lead generation tools, SEO, site maintenance, ecommerce shop builds, product creation, and coming up with strategies to drive traffic and sales.
The position can be based in either Dallas, TX or Memphis, TN, and will be a hybrid home/office role
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop and manage webpages, microsites, landing pages, pop-ups, lead capturing tools, and other web assets.
Responsible for the implementation and enrichment of on-site SEO to help assist in achieving organic traffic goals by conducting SEO and traffic data analysis, including keyword and competitive research. Share findings with the content team to develop strategies that maximize SERP coverage and increase site traffic.
Research the market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance.
Design, develop, and deploy site improvements, and optimize UX to enhance and streamline the overall shopping experience for customers.
Test/improve website performance, optimization and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
Conduct site audits via SEMRush, HotJar, and Google Search Console, or other site monitoring tools to identify website’s health gaps: broken links, page speed, mobile friendliness, crawlability, etc.
Assisting with re-platforming website to new CMS.
Align product strategy, technology, and marketing with digital initiatives to grow online and mobile commerce and capabilities.
Provide valuable market intelligence for new product launches and develop strategies to increase site conversions.
Work closely with our web development agency to enhance website performance and ensure proper implementation of designs.
Work with the retail marketing team in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition and synchronize efforts for campaign launches.
Collaborate with IT to implement necessary features and changes.
Problem solve and identify necessary bug fixes.
Requirements:
At least 3 years preferred experience in E-Commerce, digital marketing channels, E-Commerce site merchandising, and managing content for websites.
You must have solid experience and be comfortable working in front-end web development.
Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify.
Creative eye for design and UX/UI.
Must have an excellent SEO strategy and implementation skills, proficient content writer, and a track record of success in these areas.
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience with JavaScript.
Expert with Excel’s features, functions, formatting, and formulas.
Strong quantitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of internal teams and external partners.
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at once.
Passion to improve process, performance, and streamline technology.
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
