Job description
We are a design firm specializing in Residential & Commercial design, located in Sherman Oaks. We are currently looking for an experienced Drafter. The ideal candidate is well-versed in AutoCAD with experience in drafting plans, sections, elevations, details, etc. The ability to read and comprehend architectural and structural drawings is a must. Knowledge of local residential and commercial building codes and the ability to use SketchUp is a plus.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD is a must. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Ability to read and understand both residential and commercial architectural and structural plans
- Computer savvy (Outlook, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Must be able to multitask, meet changing deadlines and work well under pressure
- Must be punctual and a quick learner
- Knowledge of local building codes is a plus
Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm
