The Donor & Communications Coordinator is responsible for organizing multiple responsibilities for the TRIMEDX Foundation. Primarily this position is responsible for maintaining the donor/volunteer management and engagement software, entering and maintaining accurate records, acknowledgement of financial contributions, and preparing donor and volunteer communications. In addition, this position assists the Director, TRIMEDX Foundation, with annual fundraising events, mission trip logistics and other duties as assigned.
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana; we are seeking candidates in the central Indiana region within a 70 mile radius. Our Central (Corporate) Office is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. This position is Hybrid (a mix of remote & in-office): remote 3-4 days per week, in office 1-2 days per week, and/or as needed.
Bring your Donor Management experience to our healthcare/med device Foundation: Experience with nonprofit donor management Bloomerang CRM, or similar software/CRM experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Accountabilities
- Responsible for maintaining the CRM software for the Foundation. Duties include: Recording and acknowledging donor activity, preparing reports and annual giving statements, as well as volunteer and donor communication and event registration.
- Assist with preparation and production of promotional materials, newsletters, social media interactions and web communications.
- Provides support and coordination for annual events including the volunteer appreciation and golf outing fundraiser.
- Provides administrative support for shipment and collection of mission trip materials, medical equipment and partner gifts, mailings, data clean-up projects, and other clerical duties as assigned.

- Effectively coordinates the resolution of problems and roadblocks as they occur.
- Has the knowledge to search for answers to a problem instead of always being reliant on instructions.

- Focuses efforts on root cause instead of task completion.
- Typically operates within clearly defined procedures.
- Determines own priorities for completing work.
Communications / Interactions
- Communicates with multiple internal teams and external vendors, volunteers and donors to receive, share and make recommendations on semi-routine information requiring some explanation or interpretation.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Experience using fundraising or CRM platforms and related software is required.
- Experience working in a non-profit or corporate foundation setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively as a member of the Foundation Team.
- Ability to maintain confidential information, including donor information and other related information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to the mission of the TRIMEDX Foundation.
- Flexible, motivated, and willing to take initiative.
Education and Qualifications
Associates degree required, or equivalent experience.
