WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A DOG DAYCARE COUNSELOR

This position is part-time, Monday - Friday, 4 hours a day (generally either 7 am - 11 am OR 1 pm - 5 pm).

As a Dog Daycare Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating new animals for participation in our social play programs, monitoring their behavior during play, and developing fun and engaging activities to keep our furry clients entertained. You are also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe social play environment for all pets, ensuring that all areas are disinfected and tidy. But that's not all! You also have the opportunity to engage in conversation with our clients, discussing their pet's activity levels, behavior, and any other concerns they might have. You love working with animals every day!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A DOG DAYCARE COUNSELOR

• 1+ years of experience in dog daycare
• Able to evaluate dog behavior
• Love for dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting and carrying dogs
• Ability to work outside in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
