Responsibilities

• Love and treat each dog as if they were your own.
• Getting in touch with your inner child- playing in the dirt and romping around with the dogs.
• Responsible for guiding all dogs at The Fetch Club through our canine enrichment program.
• Interact with dogs in playgroups using appropriate toys and tools to ensure safe levels of play and minimizing stress levels of all dogs in playgroup.
• Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention and play among all dogs in playgroup.
• Use proper dog introduction procedures, appropriate praise and dog redirection methods.
• The supervision and management of dogs during off-leash group play. You are not a referee, you are an active part of group play and will engage, play, and lead the dogs in a way that is natural for them.
• Maintain a clean and well-managed environment both inside and outside.
• Develop a deep relationship with our human customers- these are their babies!

Qualifications

• You are a dog lover and a dog advocate.
• You are a high school graduate/ GED or higher.
• You have previous professional dog handling experience (preferred, not required).
• You have strong communication skills with both your team and the human customers.
• You have a proven ability to have dogs respond to training cues and basic understanding of positive dog training reinforcement methods.
• You are able to be on your feet and actively moving during your shift.
• You are able to lift more than 50 pounds.
• You have the ability to work in both independently when needed and in a team environment when needed.
• You are on time, dependable, patient, and considerate of your team.
• You can make yourself available to work morning, mid-day, nights, and/or potentially holidays.
• You are not afraid of cleaning up after dogs and quick to do so.
• You are or willing to be CPR/First Aid Certified.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, clean and fun environment for our canine guests. This includes supervising playtime, providing basic grooming services, administering medications, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of all dogs in the daycare.
• Provide a safe and stimulating environment for all dogs.
• Monitor the behavior of all dogs in the daycare.
• Administer basic first aid to any injured dog.
• Clean and maintain the daycare facility.
• Ensure that all dogs are properly fed and watered.
• Provide basic obedience training to all dogs in the daycare.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
