We are seeking a skilled and compassionate canine and feline Groomer to join our veterinary clinic in Kingston, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing grooming services to our clients' pets, including dogs and cats, and ensuring their well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have experience in the veterinary industry and a passion for animal care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide grooming services to pets, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling
• Observe pets for any signs of illness or injury during grooming and report any concerns to the veterinarian
• Clean and maintain the grooming area and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Maintain accurate records of pets' grooming history and any medical concerns
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing any questions or concerns regarding grooming services
• Work closely with the veterinarian and veterinary staff to ensure the overall well-being of pets in our care
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and attend relevant training to improve skills and knowledge

Responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in pet grooming or equivalent experience
• Experience in the veterinary industry preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry pets of varying sizes and weights
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, kneel, and reach to groom pets
