Summit Orange currently has an open position for a Document Control (1st shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

As a Document Control, you will be responsible for efficient and accurate control and data management of Summit Interconnect customer provided information.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of two (2) years in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Revise or create procedures for the Document Control and other related Quality Systems.
  • Performs internal audits for controlled documents.
  • Maintain, organize, create, and control all master documents.
  • Prepare and coordinate document drafts through appropriate channels and using appropriate systems.
  • Maintain, distribute, and replace documents in SOP binders.
  • Update the electronic database for various documents.
  • Create, maintain, and review multiple logbooks.
  • Perform regular update of open documents and systems.
  • Conducts annual inventory and archiving variety of documents.
  • Maintain and oversee training records.
  • Other QA related tasks upon request.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and quality related experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in Document Control.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in the PCB industry.
  • Extreme attention to detail and demonstrated organizational and coordination skills.
  • Professional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access programs.

Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.

Pay Range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 hour based on experience.
