We're looking for a dynamic District Wax Trainer to teach our EWC waxing techniques to new Wax Specialists in our brand. You must be motivated, honest, hardworking and licensed in the state of Texas.
The District Wax Trainer is responsible for delivering training and learning resources that drive the EWC guest experience and educates associates on how it impacts the key drivers of the business. This position reports to the District Manager and Franchisees, and will play a key role in impacting the brand’s overall guest experience and sales through targeted and comprehensive training and in-center coaching.
A day in the life of a District Wax Trainer typically rotates between facilitating training for new Wax Specialists to the brand, providing continued education to Wax Specialists and supporting their growth, and leading by example by providing services to our amazing guests in-suite!

Responsibilities of a District Wax Trainer:
- Adhere to developed European Wax Center training content and schedules to ensure consistency of training message.
- Evaluate capabilities of teams using available tools and observations while providing the appropriate level of feedback.
- Collaborate with Center Managers, District Managers, and Franchisees to support new-hire training, Level-Up opportunities, quality control and continued education for their teams.
- Help to develop peer trainers in-centers to ensure coaching is appropriately reinforced to sustain training effectiveness through actionable follow-up.
- Facilitate trainings that helps reinforce learning content by developing participants' competencies and helping associates meet specified performance expectations.
- Appropriately measure the impact of training based on agreed guidelines.
- Assist the centers with utilization of all resources and drive participation in center-wide initiatives, events, and programs.
- Maintain updated knowledge of TDLR and EWC safety rules and regulations, checking all centers are in compliance at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of the business by staying abreast of weekly updates.
- Be flexible and open to new ways of thinking in a dynamic environment.
- Travel throughout the market based on priority and need from center-to-center.
- Lead by example for Wax Specialists and provide waxing services, stepping into the role of Wax Specialist (at minimum) 1 day per week.
- Support other training related tasks and projects as required.

Who You Are:
- Ability to represent EWC in a professional and consistent manner while upholding the EWC’s core values.
- Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, demonstrate procedures and respond to questions.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including outstanding facilitation skills.
- Must possess superior organizational skills, attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Ability to display strong knowledge of EWC products, services and promotions offered company wide.
- Must possess a positive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lead and manage training sessions.
- Dynamic, people-person who is highly interested in educating others to master sales skills and wax techniques.
- Highly skilled at effective one-on-one and team coaching and influencing.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with executive leadership and work with various teams as needed.
- Agile thinker in different business environments.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, GMail, Calendars) preferred.
- Enjoys travel (schedule rotates each day in various centers throughout the Greater Austin Area).
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25lbs.
Education & Experience:
- Esthetician license required
- Prior work experience at European Wax Center highly preferred (internal candidates must currently meeting or exceeding all Wax Specialist metric expectations within their designated center)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 3-5 years customer service training experience
- 3-5 years retail training experience, beauty industry preferred
