Essential Functions

• Experience in highly automated, big box DC
• Manage staff of up to 5 direct reports and up to 100 hourly associates
• Strong experience in warehouse management
• Manage receipt and put away of merchandise into the Distribution Center in an accurate and timely manner while complying with distribution receipt schedules.
• Ensure problem in departments are resolved promptly and in compliance with Company and distribution standards.
• Ensure company safety and security policies are consistently followed and maintained.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned departments.
• Assists DC management to increase production output and efficiencies.
• Coordinates training of new employees, current employees and labor management.
• Ensures proper training of all employees regarding GMPs, Safety, Quality and other company procedures and programs.
• Executes SOPs and hold your team accountable, including progressive discipline when necessary.
• Handles employee concerns and issues, including filling out incident reports or other relevant documentation and submitting it to Human Resources.
• Manages employee time and attendance, and updates hours appropriately.
• Identifies talent on your team, including identifying primary and backups for critical roles and creating training plans for every critical role.
• Provides and receives feedback to develop employees and future leaders.
• Ensures the facility and associates comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Engages and show respect to Managers and Team members on a daily basis, building team morale to drive productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Bachelor Degree Preferred but not required

Operations Manager

• 3‐4 years of related retail or business experience and/or experience in distribution operations with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities
• Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of the application of distribution center technologies to the total logistics system
• Team‐oriented work style

Work Environment

• Merchandise distribution environment where extreme fluctuations in temperature are possible
• Exposure to exhaust fumes from forklifts and other merchandise maneuvering equipment
• Potential exposure to excessive noise levels

Salary: $40,288.68 - $80,000.00 per year
