Distribution Specialist 3rd Shift
Job description
Dixon is looking for a Distribution Specialist to join our 3rd shift team in Chestertown, MD from 10:00PM - 7:00AM, Sunday evenings through Friday mornings. The right candidate will work as a member of the Distribution team in the receiving area and other areas as needed. Primary duties include working with the receiving team, performing put away of items in receiving, picking in the system, and any special projects as needed. High school Diploma or equivalent required. Forklift certification is preferred but not required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ship, receive, stock, and pick products
- Operate scanner running the Dixon WMS program
- Operate various types of forklifts
- Review and fill customer orders
- Follow directions
- Maintain neat and orderly workspace
- Job roles may change day to day
COMPETENCIES:
- Willingness to get along with team members
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs. over the course of a shift
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
