SUMMARY:
The DC Supervisor will be primarily responsible for the supervision and administration of warehouse operations including, staffing, scheduling, inventory control, asset protection, employee relations and facility safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers in regards to receiving and selection of inventory in the warehouse.
• Coordinates with purchasing and merchandising departments to insure inventory is received properly in system to fill customer orders.
• Work with inbound carriers for scheduling and freight claim documentation.
• Work with outbound carriers for scheduling and freight pick-up’s.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations for rail and truckload carriers.
• Manage activities through use of warehouse control labor systems and continual direct follow up.
• Perform employee observations to ensure compliance with preferred methods.
• Ensure proper use of company property/machines.
• Coach and train warehouse workers in various aspects of warehouse operations such as proper use of RF Technology, accurate receiving, put-away, picking, avoidance of mis-picks and overall productivity.
• Record and review productivity and performance levels to improve efficiency of the operation.
• Analyze and research problems and provides resolution.
• Examine work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures; enforce labor standards. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly goals are met or exceeded.
• Enforce all safety standards and sanitation control.
• Discipline workers according to company rules and regulations.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
• Must be detail oriented, flexible and dependable.

External Qualifications :

• HS Diploma or GED required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Three years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Position requires solid understanding of Distribution Operations.
• SAP experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
