Position Summary

Dispatchers will manage inventory, package orders, communicate with customers, dispatch drivers, and process and assign orders. The Dispatcher will also be responsible for reconciling and accounting for products in delivery kits, and managing cash drawers and mobile debit terminals. They are responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience through friendly, outgoing service, strong communication skills, and product knowledge and efficient dispatching of delivery drivers. And communicating effectively with customers and drivers to ensure a great purchasing experience. The Dispatcher must be detail-oriented and have an understanding of inventory management best-practices and compliance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Engaging with each customer in a personal, enthusiastic manner over phone or text
  • Verifying identification and documentation for each customer
  • Working as a team to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service
  • Cleaning, stocking, and organizing dispensary; working with others to keep all areas clean and stocked in accordance with Firefly Delivery standards
  • Processing orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Checking out delivery kits to drivers
  • Checking in and reconciling delivery kits
  • Collecting cash and reconciling sales
  • Reconciling inventory in multiple locations
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and products offered
  • Restocking and organizing delivery kits
  • Updating menus
  • Interacting with Blaze (POS) and other essential software including Dialpad, MS Excel, and Google Chrome

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • General knowledge of cannabis and cannabis industry regulations is required
  • One year of retail or other applicable customer-service experience required; cannabis industry experience preferred
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend and evening hours
  • Intermediate computer/office software skills, Point of Sale software familiarity, Excel familiarity, and cash management skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic reading skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability

  • Goleta, CA 93117: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
