Job Description
The Director, Supplier Quality GPO & Systems is responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving the global supplier quality management & engineering processes. He manages the regional and local implementation in cooperation with the local and regional Process Experts and ensures training. In addition, the Executive Director, Supplier Quality GPO & Systems will develop, monitor and maintain global KPIs related to Supplier Quality and align them with the global QARA and Procurement organizations.
Job Duties
- Ensure the development, maintenance and continuously improvement the global supplier quality management & engineering processes
Ensure the global, regional and local implementation and training of above processes
Lead the development of the Future State of the global supplier quality management & engineering processes
Align processes with global Procurement organization
Support Procurement in the development of the global Procurement processes
Manage the relationship with IT as it relates to the above processes and KPIs
Act as global SME
Lead the organization that will represent the Olympus in Regulatory (global) Body inspections as they relate to above processes and KPIs
Provide data to those internal organizations (e.g. Procurement, global QARA) that require it to meet those organizations Quality Management System requirements for Management Reviews or other ad hoc requests
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical degree.
Minimum of 8 to 10 years in a leadership position in process management in a medical device company.
Minimum of 4-6 years experience in project management.
Ability to manage a complex global medical device organization
Ability to develop and manage global KPIs
Ability to manage QARA internal relationships
Ability to develop and manage all global supplier quality processes
Ability to travel up to 33% of time domestically and internationally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills: strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage complexity, analytical, people management on a global basis, office 365 experience, object oriented process management software experience, Power BI experience
Ability to work well with interface partners, e.g. Procurement
Ability to drive global continues process improvement
Works well with different cultures
Works well dealing with multiple functions
Strong Executive Presence
