POSITION SUMMARY:

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Director in our Rapid Access Center (RAC). The RAC is an inpatient treatment facility and a part of Edgewater Health Addiction Services. Edgewater Health is certified to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment services by the State of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Division of Mental Health, and Addiction, is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and currently operates as a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-A-Like (FQHC LAL). Edgewater Health provides integrated behavioral health services, including a full complement of mental health and substance use disorder/addiction treatment services coupled with comprehensive primary care services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directors responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of the RAC.
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives.
  • Partners with community agencies and programs to ensure referrals as well as continuity in the type and level of patient care.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements.
  • Performs comprehensive assessments as needed.
  • Provides coverage as needed.
  • Consult with Psychiatrist.
  • Capable of resolving crisis situations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university. (Required)
  • LCSW, LMHC, LCAC, or LMFT (required)
  • 3-5 years experience of managerial experience with a substance abuse program.

Covid and Influenza: Required unless you have a medical or religious exemption.

  • TB Testing Required
