Job Purpose:

The Director of Technology supports the Advanced Rail Technology projects:

• Managing a multi-generation product development strategy that aligns with the market demand and the marketing strategy to help prioritize product feature for the development team;

• Supporting the sales and marketing activities to ensure increase of revenue and market share.

The Director of Technology will deploy and manage railway systems projects in operation both in the United States and abroad with travel of up to 25%.

Education / Training:

Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.

Job Title:

Director, Product Management -Advanced Rail Technology

Key Job Elements:

• Directs engineering personnel to ensure product quality and reliability;

• Oversees product design and design improvements to provide patent coverage;

• Acts as technical consultant to internal and external customers;

• Update and manage the Marketing Strategy that encompasses marketing segmentation, selling plan, product plan, etc.;

• Work with the ATO leadership to create and manage the multi-generation product development strategy;

• Lead the product development plan by establishing yearly, quarterly, and furlong based objectives for the engineering and development teams;

• Lead the customer product discussions and sales initiatives for automation products;

• Support sales and marketing in creating product artifacts, training, and conference material;

• Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10+ years of product or operation leadership preferably in a technical field;

• 10+ years of rail industry experience related to technology deployment.
