We’re hiring a Director, Price & Discount Strategy to own and execute our price and discount strategic vision for our active and lapsed customer base. In this role you will develop and deliver upon data and insight-driven pricing-focused initiatives and directly manage a team of pricing & discount specialists. The insights you provide will be critical in ensuring that we deliver a world-class experience for our customers and will help drive profitable, long-term growth for the business. You’ll work cross-functionally with growth specialists across the organization, from digital & physical product, analytics, CRM, UX research and operations.

You will…

• Own price strategy for all in-menu product offerings across 7 North American brands
• Own active and lapsed customer discount strategy across 7 North American brands
• Serve as a key leader on the pricing team and help shape our long term vision
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of price and discount testing from idea-generation to execution to analysis
• Leverage data and own analysis to define strategic pricing opportunities
• Tell the story behind numbers to effectively communicate the implication of risks & opportunities and their impact on the business
• Collaborate with Product, Growth Marketing, CRM, Finance, and Analytics on pricing related initiatives to drive short and long term customer profitability
• Serve as a thought-leader by scoping new opportunity areas and tests
• Evaluate & manage competitive strategy and define and implement testing plans to drive growth
• Lead a team pricing managers and analysts

You have...

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in online B2C, subscription-based business model or management, price strategy, or consulting
• Analytical experience working with digital business models and collaborating with marketing departments
• Ability to be the sparring partner for VPs and C-level for strategic initiatives focusing on our price & discount strategy
• Leverage data and insights to develop a deeper understanding of the target customer and identify and diligently manage KPIs to constantly generate impact
• Experience devising and measuring the effectiveness of pricing strategies (including AB testing), with a proven track record from other data-rich business environments
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to lead effective meetings and presentations with senior management
• Outstanding technical skills in Excel
• Prior experience with project management with the ability to lead multiple workstreams
• A pragmatic, hands-on mentality to drive towards impact
