Bear Mountain Healthcare is seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Social Worker at Chestunut Hill in East Longmeadow. Come join our team, as we make a difference in the lives of those requiring nursing and rehab care.
Role:
Our Social Services staff manage the psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs of residents residing in a skilled nursing center. They will help to develop and/or aide in the access of services. Services will be provided in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics along with strict adherence to government regulations. They will be responsible for fostering a climate, policies and routines that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity. This climate shall provide residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life.
Skills:
The nursing home social worker must have skills in communication, assessment and social work methods and techniques. He/she should be able to work effectively with a variety of disciplines in an individual and team setting. He/she should have a working understanding of social systems along with the ability to implement pertinent state and federal regulations.

Requirements:
- 2 years Long term care experience preferred
