CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Job Title: Director of Quality

Over see both Corry and Edinboro Quality departments

Work hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Location: Corry PA with travel to corporate office in Edinboro PA

Reports to: President Jonathan Markley

Job Responsibilities

· Work with project managers to develop quality review programs.

· Work with the management team to review quality standards in product development. Serve as a proactive team member for the elimination of risks in design and production where possible.

· Lead activities related to achieving and maintaining an ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System.

· Initiate and lead programs to create a sustainable world class quality culture.

· Communicate and engage people at all levels and roles in quality.

· Develop and conduct training on a variety of topics related to quality programs, initiatives, and awareness.

· Maintain Underwriter Laboratories product safety Mark and develop the ability to interface with UL Field Engineers

· Maintain test equipment and calibration records.

· Analyze trends, identify, and build action plans to improve quality initiatives, and present recommendations to company leaders.

· Maintain a system of records for quality initiatives.

Qualifications

· Minimum of five (5) years of leadership in field, production, or other relevant area of experience in manufacturing

· Proficient reading engineering drawings, MRP documentation, and other technical instructions

· Experience in an advanced technological metal fabrication environment

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

· Proficient in application of PC

· Quality-focused, organized, and passionate about quality performance.

· High degree of attention to detail. Scrutinize products closely and consistently to detect defects.

· Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.

· Self-motivated with a high degree of personal accountability.
