ROLE SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to our VP of Finance, the Director of Compensation is a key leadership position within our Finance Division and overall growing operations. Working out of our New Hyde Park, NY headquarters, the Director is responsible for directing, planning, and organizing activities related to the compensation strategy programs for our clinicians. The Director of Compensation Candidates should be enthusiastic about their work and possess a willingness to participate and contribute to our company's overall mission of providing high-quality dental care. Experience in a multi-unit healthcare setting is a plus!
LOCATION: Melville, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates all matters related to clinician compensation in partnership with our VP of Finance and Chief Insurance Officer
- Track, manage and report on all details related to Clinician Compensation
- Take ownership of all day to day activities including supervision of staff supporting doctor compensation inputs.
- Executes all tasks related to ensuring clinicians are paid properly, communicating final figures to payroll in a timely manner
- Advise on long-term and short-term compensation strategy/pay models for Dental365's clinician population in close partnership with Finance and Revenue Cycle Management
- Provide analysis and reporting on trends (by provider, office, line of business, etc.) complex issues, data, using an advanced knowledge of the organization's compensation objectives.
- Responsible for ongoing management of compensation year-end processes including compensation adjustments, annual awards, earn-outs, and other bonus information
- Successfully manage existing goals and objectives related to compensation management and innovate when necessary
- Interface with Clinicians regularly regarding queries related to compensation
- Collect, analyze and communicate compensation data during new acquisition phases
- Develop reporting related to Clinician compensation and regularly deliver updates
- Monthly creation of compensation accruals
- Investigation of causes and solutions for production errors and calculation disputes.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in the analysis and design of compensation and benefits programs (or similar data-driven functions) is required
- Experience managing the compensation processes and reporting across a large organization of 500+
- Previous experience working in a quickly scaling healthcare organization, a major plus
- Background and experience growing, developing and building compensation systems and strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally, in writing, and confidentially with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Experience developing and presenting analysis, strategy, and findings to Executive Leadership.
- Must be detail oriented!
