Essential Job Functions
This role will perform a Partner Alliance function that provides services to the Information Technology ("IT") team where third parties are being used to deliver services to the IT team. This role will assist IT with the implementation of new services provided by third parties and with the ongoing management of third parties with the goal of continually improving the value of third-party services provided to IT. An important goal for this role is to enable third parties to provide IT with market leading expertise, experience and scalability while also enabling IT to focus on strategic and urgent work related to business growth and innovation.
Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)
- Develop, implement and institutionalize supplier/partner alliance management framework and processes.
- Where needed, assist the Information Technology team in the development of certain business terms for a SOW including SLAs and in the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Plan, develop and lead the ongoing Tier 2 (monthly), Tier 3 (bi-annually), and Annual governance meetings for strategic IT suppliers and provide ongoing management of the meeting Action Items.
- Assist in any critical issue escalation or management of any ongoing critical issues.
- Regularly report on the status of all strategic IT suppliers to the Head of IT Enterprise Office and the CIO.
- Collaborate with the applicable IT team members to improve IT processes based on Action Items from the governance meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology ("IT"), Business or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
- 7 years of experience in IT, engineering, strategic sourcing, business operations, including IT category or related experience.
- 5 years in managing suppliers/partners.
- Proficient in project management.
- Proficient in process development and improvement.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
