Job description

The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership by improving efficiency, productivity, quality, return on investment, systems, processes, procedures, marketing and finance. Overseeing and driving projects and processes toward excellence is the goal. The position will be heavily involved with all aspects of the firm. Prior law office experience is preferred. Experience in Litify Case Management System is a bonus!

Duties:

  • Oversee the operations of the Intake and Marketing departments.
  • Work to increase the revenues and profitability of the firm.
  • Coordinate with Managed IT services provider on all matters related to firm technology.
  • Identify office staffing issues and work with leadership team to fill positions in all departments.
  • Address substandard behavior, performance, or attitude with office staff, making sure team members are compliant with office policies.
  • Oversee administration of all employee benefits.
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of the building and property.
  • Work closely with all existing vendors and establish relationships with new building vendors as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Able to lead and manage people, especially by example effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Office Suite, and Litify.
  • 3+ years in leadership role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
