Be a part of the caring team of professionals at Sterling Healthcare Management, a division of Menora Financial Corp (MFC) which manages 4 Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Communities in Northwest Indiana with an eye towards additional growth.
Sterling Health Care Management is actively hiring for a Director of Human Resources. This position is responsible for the daily management of Human Resources with an emphasis on employee relations, employee retention, training development and implementation, talent acquisition, payroll, and other regulatory HR functions. This position requires travel to 3 communities in South Bend, IN and 1 in Gary, IN.
Job Duties:
- Provide guidance to HR Directors at each of the facilities
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires
- Assist and implement employee retention and engagement programs
- Implement training and development plans and supporting training materials
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of HR functions, payroll, and benefits
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field
- Experience with HRIS computer systems; proficiency with Microsoft office programs
- Knowledge of ATS and recruiting practices
- Experience in HealthCare is a plus
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal and excellent people and communication skills with the ability to be transparent and direct
