JOB DESCRIPTION :

• The Director of Facilities directs and coordinates the daily activities of the Engineering Foreman, Office Coordinator and Grounds Supervisor.
• Maintains oversight and has responsibility of operational budgets for Facilities, Grounds, and campus buildings to include annual updates of each budget.
• Responsible for managing the day to day activities of services including facilities maintenance, repair projects, in house minor construction, grounds maintenance, asbestos abatement and monitoring activities, vendor management and general safety.
• Provides input and assists in long range planning on major and minor facilities capital budgets. Maintains readiness for facilities response to Environment of Care, Life Safety, and all regulatory requirements by Joint Commission, CMMS, and NYSDOH, OSHA, and NYSDEC.

Must-Haves

• Minimum of five to ten years experience in supervision and the installation, construction and maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings.
• Experience must include the supervision of skilled trades workers, maintenance of medium pressure steam systems, DDC and pneumatic building automation systems.
• Experience in managing a successful preventive maintenance program, training in business management with an emphasis on budgeting, and working with organizational contracting agents to develop specifications and bid documents for goods and services

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience in the maintenance of facilities in a healthcare campus setting and a familiarity with construction and public access requirements concerning the disabled is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $77,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
