    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate Required
    • Valid Arizona K-12 Administrative Certificate preferred
    • Proven record of accomplishment in technology planning and technology personnel management, ideally in a K-12 academic setting
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to provide training and support to users of educational technology platforms, with a strong focus on customer service.
    • Knowledge of technology literacy standards and curriculum integration
    • Ability and technical skills to retrieve and analyze student data
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Required to pass a criminal history background check
    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
    • Supports the Strategic Plan of Queen Creek Unified School District
    • Provide leadership in the development of strategic approaches for the integration of technology into the educational environment.
    • Develop and coordinate QCUSD K-12 G-Suite training and implementation
    • Ensure that all educators have access to the appropriate tools for 21st-century learning.
    • Support STEAM initiatives at school sites.
    • Lead the development and implementation of online learning initiatives across the school district, ensuring alignment with district standards and goals (Learning Lab, Virtual Academy, Distance Learning).
    • Collaborate with other departments within the school district, including IT, academic leadership, and curriculum development, to ensure that online learning initiatives are integrated effectively into the organization's educational technology ecosystem.
    • Establish a Technology Advisory Committee (TAC), composed of a cross-functional group of end-users that provides strategic guidance for technology oversight in the district.
    • Provide training and support to registrars on the use of the student information system (Synergy) to ensure accurate and up-to-date student records.
    • Collaborate with the registrar team to develop and maintain effective processes for data entry and management within the student information system.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on the student information system, staying up to date with new features and functionality and providing guidance on best practices for its use.
    • Develop and deliver training materials and resources, including user manuals and training sessions, to ensure that registrars are proficient in the use of the student information system.
    • Provide ongoing support to registrars on the use of the student information system, responding to queries and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
    • Work closely with other departments, including IT and academic leadership, to ensure that the student information system is fully integrated into the organization's educational technology ecosystem.
    • Assist in orientation for new employees with the QCUSD curriculum software.
    • Plan, organize and support all district software training by collaborating with various departments to ensure employees are trained annually
    • Develop, support, and monitor the Participatory Budgeting Process
    • Implement and provide support for QCUSD Lead Out Loud sponsors by overseeing the participatory budgeting training and site projects

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month
    COMPENSATION: $91,176 - $124,802
    B ENEFITS: As per District policy
    REPORTS TO : Elementary and Secondary Assistant Superintendents
    EVALUATION: Per District Policy
    HOURS: 40 hours per week and may require longer hours
    CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
