What You'll be Doing

Driving the efforts to align technology and business strategy, leverage technology investments, and optimize end to end business processes associated with technology? Through these efforts, the Director of Network Engineering manages a highly specialized team responsible for owning a global network that directly impacts revenue. This Director level role reports to the Executive Director, Network Engineering

During a Typical Day, You'll

This role requires comfort and ownership within a fast paced, flexible environment. This leader is a key player in the strategic planning processes for the TTEC IT organization, acting as one of the lead advisors to the Vice President of Infrastructure & Operations.

Areas of emphasis include team management and the execution of engineering activities associated with the production environment while ensuring our networks and data centers are fully operational, supportable and sustainable.

The Director of Network Engineering is responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with IT architects and managers to determine current and future enterprise network, data center needs and service offerings, ensuring that the organizations' needs are met.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and guiding a high technical team of data, data center, and security engineers
  • Develop and deploy network infrastructure plans
  • Develop, articulate and present a roadmap related to future state data center strategic initiatives
  • Works with top technology executives to assure investments in networks are appropriate and compatible with the industry that can scale and adapt as the business needs dictate
  • Work with Vice President to develop short- and long-term strategic departmental plans that support overall corporate and IT strategy
  • Manage a staff of domestic and international employees and serve as the team liaison for the hiring process, work allocation, scheduling, training, professional development and performance evaluation
  • Support projects end-to-end initiated by various clients (internal/external) and business units including new project and client launches, internal technology efforts, and migration activities related to mergers and acquisitions
  • Establish and meet service level agreements for uptime and issue response

What You Bring to the Role

  • Director level experience in a Network Engineering related position
  • Experienced leading large geographically dispersed teams
  • 10+ years related work experience in planning, design, implementation, and engineering supporting large enterprise data networks
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of networking architectures
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience.

The anticipated range is $150,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
