Job description
As a contributing member of the Professional Services leadership team, you will work closely with the Senior Managing Director, Managing Directors and other Directors to support the company’s vision, strategic priorities and initiatives. In collaboration with the Professional Services team, you will provide Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates), on a wide variety of buildings and machinery and equipment in locations across the United States and on occasion globally. Through site inspections, research, expert analysis and collaboration, you will develop a solid and defensible rationale for the final value assigned to a property. A large percentage of the work involves establishing the cost for reconstruction of existing buildings and replacement of industrial machinery and equipment for insurance placement purposes. You will facilitate the work activities of others, train and coach junior and mid-level staff, and perform quality control reviews of reports. The role requires 30-40% regional and national travel and occasional global travel

You have the following credentials:
- Full proficiency in reading, writing and oral instructions in English. Proficiency in additional language(s) is an asset;
- Post-secondary education;
- Possesses an American Society of Appraisers (ASA) designation in good standing; An ASA in Machinery & Technical Specialties is an asset;
- Relevant experience with project management and supervising others are assets;
- Experience with process improvement is an asset;
- Significant progressive experience applying valuation models; asset if related to industrial processes; and
- A combination of education, experience and designations(s) will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,058.73 - $150,000.00 per year
