We are partnering with a southern West Virginia hospital seeking an experienced Operating Room Leader for a non-contract Director of Surgical Services role. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the leadership and management of Surgical Services, which includes Operating Rooms, Pre and Post-Operative, Sterile Processing, Perioperative Evaluation Clinic, and Endoscopy.
• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care by empowering staff, coordinating activities between operating departments and by promoting patient satisfaction
• Collaborates with medical staff, ancillary/support directors and other personnel in resolving issues, promoting, and planning optimal patient care
• Selects, hires, manages, evaluates the performance and effectiveness of employees, and facilitate the professional development of all staff to ensure clinical practice competence.

Requirements:

• BSN required; MSN is preferred
• Current RN licensed issued by the West Virginia State Board of Registered Nurses
• Five years of nursing experience with at least two years in a management position
• Active certifications – ACLS, BLS, PALS
