Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
help adults with disabilities to reach their full potential by teaching communication skills, assisting with activities of daily living, reducing behaviors that interfere with quality of life, promoting independence, and integrating clients into the home and community. Services take place in private homes and the community, NOT in a group home or residential care facility.


Schedule (must be available for the hours listed below):

Mondays - 8:30 am - 1 pm

Tuesdays - 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

  • Wednesday A - 8:30 am - 1 pm
  • Wednesday B - 11 am - 3 pm
  • Wednesday hours alternate each week - must be available for both shifts.

(Total Hours: Week A - 14 hours, Week B - 13.5 hours)


Locations:
The client is picked up in New Hope, driven to Feasterville-Trevose for services, then taken back to New Hope at the end of the session.


This is an immediate opening!
Training starts after an offer is made and all mandatory clearances have been submitted and reviewed.


Job Responsibilities

  • Work with adults (21 years of age and older) with varying service needs
  • Implement individual service plan goals and behavior support plan
  • Maintain participant safety and confidentiality
  • Complete service notes and Electronic Verification Visitation Appointments accurately
  • Daily data collection


Job Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • Must pass required background checks
  • Daily transport of participants in your personal vehicle
    • Must have up-to-date license, registration, and car insurance
  • Ability to engage with the participant you're supporting
