Who We Are:

Divine Embrace Health Services is a home and community-based service (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) provider which is certified by the Department of Aging & Disability Services (DADS) that provides services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What We Do:

Divine Embrace Health Services provides HCS and TxHmL services and support toeligible persons as an alternative to the intermediate care facilities for persons with Intellectual Disabilities or Related Condition (ID/RC) Program.

We are looking for someone who is a dedicated and committed Direct Care Support who has prior experience working with an HCS provider but ready to grow with our currently expanding agency.

**We are currently hiring for multiple positions including all shifts and weekend positions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervising and assisting with 3 clients in a group home setting. Must work with clients on activities, goals and objectives, prepare meals, administer medications, and assist with clients’ hygiene, complete cleaning chores, transport clients as needed with company vehicle. Must complete daily progress notes.
• Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living (grooming, eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene)
• Assisting clients with eating and drinking, prepares meals that adhere to special dietary considerations
• Accompanying clients on trips, such as medical appointments, Runs errands to the grocery store, laundromat, drugstore, and other necessary locations.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
• Serves as a companion to the clients.
• Assisting with medications and performance of tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse. Monitoring the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients and reporting changes to Supervisors and daily log.
• Supervision of individual’s safety and security
• Facilitating inclusion in community activities, use of natural supports, social interaction, participation in leisure activities, and development of socially valued behaviors
• Documentation of daily activities and writing daily progress note

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Valid and current Texas Driver's License.
• Pass all pre-employment background checks (including criminal, DPS, etc.)
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to provide valid social security card/government issued ID.
• Must be able to provide proof of valid automobile insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

• Manvel, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
