The Digital Services Manager champions E-business solutions supporting growth and new customer acquisition. With an understanding of Louisiana Cat’s digital business strategy, the position will provide consistent leadership in deploying and driving E-commerce related solutions. Most importantly, this position serves as a critical customer focused resource supporting growth across all Louisiana Cat digital business platforms.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • Development, proposal, and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing and/or growing online presence and eCommerce sales that aligns with Louisiana Cat’s business goals.
  • Champion for Louisiana Cat’s customer-facing eCommerce applications, including backend registration, maintenance, customer & employee training, and promotion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, including product descriptions, images, and videos, to drive conversions.
  • Work closely with customer service to ensure that customer inquiries and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Establish customer relationships with appropriate customer contacts to facilitate incremental parts sales through eCommerce channels ensuring customers can realize the full benefits of the platforms.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve the e-commerce experience for customers.
  • Provide a coordinated and consistent approach in deploying and driving adoption and commercialization of digital products and services.
  • Analyze Google Analytics to gain a deeper understanding of customers/prospects and leverage insights in marketing strategy to drive incremental online parts sales.
  • Engage with the Digital Excellence program and eCommerce Global Dealer Standards program to prioritize and manage internal projects to achieve program targets.
  • Coordinate and test all system-related updates and changes to eCommerce applications.
  • Troubleshoot customer reported issues associated with ecommerce platforms and communicate those issues internally and externally.
  • Direct interface with upper management and presentation of plans for any new developments or initiatives aimed at enhancing Louisiana CAT’s ecommerce sales.
  • Systems include, but are not limited to: Parts.Cat.Com, Integrated Procurement, Cat Central, and SIS 2.0
  • Maintain current knowledge of eCommerce best practices through attending related conferences, training, and building relationships with other dealer eCommerce and Digital Service Managers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree with a major in Marketing, Information Systems or other business-related discipline.
  • In lieu of degree, 4+ years relevant industry experience and demonstrated understanding of current e-commerce procedures and techniques.
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of ecommerce best practices, with a track record of applying these best practices.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new programs.
  • Strong teamwork skills are critical.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external technical resources and business area leaders.
  • Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience with digital marketing and analytics, ecommerce order fulfillment, distribution/shipping, fraud detection/loss prevention and payment gateway integration.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.
