As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. Come join our exceptionally productive mixed signal ASIC development team that is delivering silicon for all of Apple’s major hardware products. Our team has quickly ramped up to engage with all of Apple’s hardware product teams on next generation devices. Our mixed signal verification engineers have been critical to the team’s success, delivering models and testbenches that achieved simulation speedups orders of magnitude faster than traditional AMS techniques. Our projects can be intense, but the teamwork and results are always deeply satisfying.

Key Qualifications

  • Proficient in developing real number models and testbenches with System Verilog
  • Foundation in analog circuit design
  • Understanding of topologies for high efficiency power delivery circuits
  • Proven collaboration and debug skills

Description

• Work with Analog and Digital design teams to refine specifications for mixed signal IP’s • Construct real number models (RNM) of analog blocks based on specifications and schematics • Validate RNM versus Schematic designs • Create verification plans based on specification and product use cases • Generate test cases with coordinated analog and digital stimulus to stress the tight analog / digital interdependencies • Collaborate with architects and designers to debug simulation anomalies, and verify design fixes • Review simulation results with product system team architects and designers • Present verification results and tapeout readiness status to senior management
