The Digital Manufacturing Development Lead will support the global Digital Manufacturing vision of NorPro through the design, development, and delivery of SCADA, HMI, MES, and Data Historian solutions based on Saint-Gobain standard development tools.

The primary focus of this position is guide the development of Digital Manufacturing solutions using internal and external developers. This will be done through the design, specification, and enforcement of standards for technology, programming, data, and UI/UX. The goal is to deliver a harmonized global Digital Manufacturing system that:

• Fosters easy global data analysis by business managers
• Offers simple-to-use interfaces with a common look and feel that makes it easy for operators be trained on multiple machines
• Uses flexible standards to quickly deploy new applications in all sites

This position can be located in Stow, OH or Bryan, TX.

• Works with Saint-Gobain IT and NorPro Manufacturing to develop and apply Digital Manufacturing Application Development standards
• Guides the design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of Digital Manufacturing solutions using standard Saint-Gobain and NorPro development environments, including Ignition, QAD, MS Teams, PowerApps, and other tools.
• Guides the creation of Work Instructions and training materials, and training delivery on new Digital Manufacturing solutions and upgrades.
• Plans and coordinates delivery of Digital Manufacturing solutions

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
• 5-8 years experience in basic computer programming and database design, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript
• 3-5 years experience in PLC data integration with SCADA/HMI/MES/Data Historian systems AND Application Development using Ignition Vision and/or Perspective
• 5-8 years progressive experience in analytical roles of increasing responsibility, project management, and standards development, or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of Business Systems Processes and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience in the following areas required: SCADA concepts and techniques; PLC, PAC, and automation controller concepts and technologies; automation protocols such as OPC, Modbus, Profibus, EthernetIP, DeviceNet, MQTT.
• Excellent understanding of network infrastructure topologies and technologies including Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless Ethernet and operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux preferred
