Dietary Aide

Full-Time, Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Dietary Aide Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sets up trays quickly and accurately in neat and attractive arrangements.
• Places food on trays according to menu and diet requirements.
• Collects soiled trays, returns to and scrapes them in dishwashing area.
• May be assigned to serve in the formal dining room, the health center dining room and to prepare and dish up salads and desserts.
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures.

• Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information to assure residents' rights are protected.
• Follows established Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Assists in inventorying and storing in-coming food supplies as necessary.
• Performs all daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to assist cooks in preparing meals.
• Delivers food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.
