Bethany at Silver Lake is hiring a Dietary Aide. Sunday, and Monday 5:30AM-1:30PM Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00AM-1:00PM
On Sundays and Mondays you are the cook assistant, making desserts, salads, potatoes, side entrée meals. Serving meals on tray line. Daily cleaning. Other duties as assigned.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays you will make coffee, sandwiches, get trays ready for tray line for breakfast and lunch, get all condiments needed for each meal, make coffee carts, carts for nursing with supplements, ice, water. Other duties as assigned.
I know that working in long-term care may sound scary during these times, let me assure you our facility is clean, we take great steps to keep it this way. We follow all the federal and state guidelines to maintain the health and safety of everyone involved.

MUST BE COVID VACCINATED
Masks are always required.
This position is Full Time at 30 hours per week. Benefits are offered, medical, dental, vacation days.
The days and times are:

• Sunday 5:30AM-1:30PM
• Monday 5:30AM-1:30PM
• Tuesday 5:00AM-1:00PM
• Wednesday 5:00AM-1:00PM
• Thursday off
• Friday off
• Saturday off

You may be asked to cover open shifts or when others call out.
**Pay is $17.00-$20.00 an hour DOE.
You need to be friendly and a team player. This kitchen helps each other and cares for one another. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 30+ pounds, work in a hot environment, be OK with interruptions, and love working with the elderly.

Qualifications*

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and understand measurements and conversions
• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred, but not required
• Ability to plan, organize and set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the elderly.
• MUST be fully vaccinated (2doses) by state law.
• Masks are required at all times while working.
• Weekly mandatory covid testing.
