Continental Express Inc. is currently seeking Diesel Mechanics to work on trucks and/or trailers. These are day shift positions on a Tuesday to Saturday work schedule. Experience with Freightliners preferred but not required.

Continental Express is a full service transportation company that specializes in hauling refrigerated food products with a fleet of 500 trucks and 1200 trailers. Company headquarters is located in Sidney, OH but we have terminals located in Fort Worth, TX, Indianapolis, IN, Columbus, OH, Gaffney, SC, Danville, VA, Fishersville, VA and Louisville, KY. Duties will include

• Troubleshoot system issues with diagnostic programs and other troubleshooting techniques
• Diagnose, repair and replace components and/or damaged parts
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and other wear components
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Ensure completed work meets federal and state codes/regulations
• Work collaboratively with other Technicians to evaluate and repair equipment
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay range from $20.00/hour to $30.00/hour based on experience
• Quarterly wage increases the first year of employment
