Diesel Mechanic and Fabricator

M-F Days with Frequent Saturdays

Job Location is based in Santa Maria, but will be required to travel for roadside repairs and perform truck repairs in the Central Valley.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose equipment based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the operator.
• Repair equipment based on the diagnosed issues.
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on equipment
• Inspect all systems: steering engines, pumps, bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
• Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions and hydraulic pumps and hoses, cooling systems, material handling systems, and others.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Fabrication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
