Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Die Setter in Shelby Twp, MI. This would be a direct hire opportunity

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for all mold changes done per the production schedule and all emergency mold changes
• Responsible for the proper set-up of all molds and related functions such as watering of the mold, knockout, hot runner set-up, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
• Load the proper process for the mold being set
• Repair any fluid air leaks relating to the mold
• Responsible for the pulling and resetting of all mold halves, specifically for the purpose of mold repair
• Responsible for the loading and unloading of all mold carrying trucks (if necessary)
• Responsible for the installation and removal of all auxiliary equipment from the molding floor
• Maintain the orderly appearance of the mold storage area
• Responsible for the orderly appearance of all mold-setting supplies including the removal of all supplies from the molding machine and immediate area
• Ensure all paperwork is completed, submitted and filed in a timely manner
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, etc.)
• Comply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas
• Communicate to Supervisor when low on Die Setter supplies
• Maintain inventory of Die Setter supplies in good condition and complete a request for more supplies
• Work required overtime as needed
• Other duties my be assigned as necessary.

• Frequent standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Frequent lifting or lowering objects up to 45lbs.
• Frequent reaching above/below shoulder and forward.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching
