Job description
Under the supervision of the RN, initiates, monitors, and terminates hemodialysis treatments for patients with End Stage Renal Disease.
Responsible for preparation of dialysate components.
Must be familiar with all facets of dialysis patient care. Functions as a team member.
Maintains a safe environment for everyone. Performs assignments for the well being of patients throughout all stages of the life cycle.
Observes policies and procedures set forth by the unit.
Must maintain CPR certification.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent
Experience: None
Licensure: None
Certification: Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician within 1 year of hire (mandatory & must maintain)
